What up people!! I’m a tad behind in pretty much EVERYTHING this week. As my Great Grandma K would say, “Such is life.”
I have a yummy little recipe to share with you all; unfortunately it will have to wait until next week. Trust me it’s worth it!
Now with that lil teaser out of the way, I’d like to share a quick thought:
All you CrossFitters out there know that the Open is over half way done now. Only 2 workouts remain before the ever exciting Regionals kick off. I just gotta say that the energy in the box is typically high, but when you add in the anticipation of the Open, the whole thing JUST HITS ANOTHER LEVEL. Tonight I had the pleasure of cheering on many of my CrossFit peeps and watch them destroy their performances from last year. Although, I have no illusions of even making top 3000, I get so excited watching my girls who absolutely will be making a huge mark this year. I truly feel that this camaraderie is what makes us work harder, build confidence, and keep us wanting more!
I just want to say that no matter what your workout of choice is, think of it as more than just a physical activity. Think of it as therapy for your mind, body and spirit! Find a person or people who will push you and commend you on all your accomplishments, big or small and keep them close.
We all need cheerleaders and we need to BE cheerleaders!
